Inter-College Yoga Competition organized at JC Bose University

Faridabad, 26 November – JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad organized an Inter-College Yoga Competition in which 40 participants from the university and affiliated colleges participated. The yoga students of University's Community College performed outstanding in the competition. Vice Chancellor Sh. Raj Nehru and Registrar Dr. S.K. Garg have congratulated the winners.

The competition was organized by the University's Student Welfare Office under the supervision of Dean Student Welfare Prof. Lakhwinder Singh and Sports Coordinator Dr. Shailender Gupta. The competition was conducted by Yogacharya Kuldeep Rawat and Sports Officer Dr. Sunita Koak, in which the participants demonstrated different yogic kriyas including Jal Shatkarma Neti and Sutra Neti besides various asanas like Kapalbhati and Surya Namaskar with chanting.

The competition was organized in Men's and Women's Single Category.  The students of Yoga disciplines from the University's Community College for Skill Development dominated in the competition. In the male category, Sanjay and Harsh, both from Community College got first and second position, respectively. Similarly, Ravi Kumar of the University stood third.

In the women's category, Anjali of Community College was the winner. Himanshi from University and Kshama from Community College shared the second position whereas University's Preeti stood third. Prof. Manish Vashisht, Director Youth Welfare Dr. Pradeep Dimari, and Sports Coordinator Shailender Gupta gave away prizes to the winners.
