Faridabad, 16 March – On the auspicious occasion of Holi, former Vice Chancellors of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, Prof Dinesh Kumar and Shri Raj Nehru, today called on Vice Chancellor Prof. S.K. Tomar in his office and greeted him on the festival of Holi.
Prof Dinesh Kumar is presently the Vice-Chancellor of Gurugram University and Shri Raj Nehru is the founder Vice-Chancellor of Shri Vishwakarma Skill University. The former Vice Chancellors briefed Prof Tomar about the various initiatives taken for the overall development of the University during their tenures and extended their support to Prof. Tomar for the implementation of the future plans of the University.
They admitted that JC Bose University is one of the leading Universities in the region. It has the advantage of being located in Faridabad, the industrial hub of the State and can contribute for research and innovation to provide solutions to the real time problems of the Industries. Registrar Dr. S.K. Garg was also present on this occasion.
Prof Tomar also sought views from the former Vice-Chancellors about the areas in which the university needs improvement. They also discussed ways and means required to make JC Bose University a hub of quality and excellence in teaching and research. Prof. Tomar reciprocated good wishes to Prof. Dinesh Kumar and Shri Raj Nehru on the occasion of Holi.
